To be honest,public transport at Melaka is always inconvenience but there is a new service of bus (which I just found it from internet).

3. Food
You can easily found the most well-known Malaysia food from Malacca. Be aware if you cannot take any spicy food. We (as Malaysian can't live without chili)

For others, no worry. There are still, lots of other non-spicy food as:
Satay (grill meat on stick), Chicken Rice, Chendol (coconut syrup on ice flace), Peranakan dessert (little cake made by coconut milk, glutinous flour, pandan leaf, coconut milkshare, Bakuteh (pork ribs cook with herbal soup go with rice), toasted bread with kaya (coconut sugar jam) go with local Kopi(coffee with milk) or Teh (milk tea)....
The food of Malacca is been influence by differenct culture:
Malay food: MEE GORENG, MEE ROJAK, ( MEE is noodle
)Nasi Lemak (coconut rice with chili and curry chicken
)You easily find them at Malay restaurant.( >RM3)
India food: ROTI CANAI(ROTI PRATA ) It is a typical
food of Indian of Malaysia with affordable price ( if
i'm not wrong is RM1.80 -+)it have a lots of type
pancake, serve with curry paste. Suggest you to try :
TOSEI PISANG (pancake with banana), ROTI TISSUE (Crispy like tissue)
Chinese food: The chicken rice ball, (is that only can found from Malacca? I believe which is original from Malacca)As known as Hainan chicken rice too.
Nyonya (Peranakan) food:
Nyanya cuisine, which is a fusion from Malay & Chinese cuisine.
